Meet Kailey Swenson, MS, NCC, LPC-IT

For growing up, growing into yourself, or growing together.

A warm space where we can make sense of the life you're living and step into the person you're becoming.

Whether you're an older teen navigating growing up, a young adult discovering who you are, or a couple learning how to grow together, finding someone you connect with matters.

Kailey offers a warm, genuine, and collaborative approach to counseling. She believes meaningful conversations begin with curiosity, understanding, and respecting what matters to you.

Her counseling interests include older teens and young adults, particularly ages 15–30, couples, and military-connected individuals and families.

For clients who want to incorporate their Christian faith or personal beliefs into counseling, Kailey welcomes those conversations, too.

A Little More About Kailey

I became a therapist because I know what it's like to see people struggle with things they don't always feel comfortable talking about. I wanted to offer a place where people could bring all of it—the difficult emotions, the complicated relationships, the mistakes, the questions—and feel understood rather than judged.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who to be or make your decisions for you. It's to walk alongside you, ask thoughtful questions, notice what might be going unsaid, and explore possibilities together.

I also believe that being a therapist doesn't mean pretending to have everything figured out. I'm human, too. I appreciate people who can be genuine, acknowledge their imperfections, and find room for humor along the way. I'll bring that same authenticity into our conversations.

My faith is an important part of who I am and how I understand love, grace, and the worth of every person. For clients who want Christian faith incorporated into counseling, I'm glad to make room for those conversations. And regardless of your beliefs, I want you to experience respect, compassion, and the freedom to be yourself.

More than anything, I hope you leave our conversations feeling seen, valued, and understood—even when we're talking about the difficult things.

A Few Things About Me

I grew up surrounded by boys, so I can be pretty straightforward. I love a good laugh, I'm almost always craving Hispanic food, and I believe just about anything worth celebrating deserves a celebration—birthdays, graduations, big milestones, and the little victories that might otherwise go unnoticed.

And if you meet my dog Lambeau, you'll quickly discover that I'm not the only one in our family who appreciates a little attention and a good snack!
